What is the companies track record - A companies track record will be a key indicator of whether or not you want to do business with them. Go to the Better Business Bureau site and see how many and what type of complaints the company has had in the last year or so. Also do a simply Google search to see what others personal experience has been with the company. If a company is a scam you will find out about it on the internet.

What type of products do they offer - Some MLM companies promote pure junk. Stuff that would be almost impossible to sell which means you won't make very much money if any at all. When it comes to the products take a step back and think would you personally purchase these products. Ask yourself is there a large enough market for the products that you can make a nice income each and every month? If not find another MLM company.
