web hosting

As a web development firm, everyone on our team tends to take certain terms for granted. However, there are occasions when we have to explain the term hosting and exactly what it means to host a website. In a nutshell, I like to say that the hosting is wh.

A website consists of many individual files on a computer. The computer has to be connected to the Internet in such a way that allows users to see the files that are stored on it. This computer is referred to as a web server. Web hosting is a service that stores, maintains, and serves the website files on a web server. Some robust computers are servers which provide access for many different websites all at the same time. Disk space on one of these servers is what is referred to as a hosting account. Web hosting removes the need for novice individuals to handle complicated and expensive web servers to make their web site visible online.

Web hosting companies provide space and internet connectivity to their clients. The physical area where this occurs is called a data center. The data center consists of many computers and Internet IP Addresses. The IP Address is the actual physical address of where your web site is hosted - the same way your home address is the real physical address of your home.

Another major component of web hosting is the functional ability to process e-mail. This is called e-mail hosting and most often occurs on the same hosting account as the web site. When choosing a web hosting provider, it is imperative to ensure that it will also handle the company’s e-mail needs.

There are hundreds of Internet service providers (ISP) that own web space on web servers in data centers. When obtaining a hosting account, one is actually renting space on a server, from the ISP. This is very similar to a homeowner renting their home, or a room in their home, to various tenants. In much the same way, the client must agree to the respective terms and conditions of the hosting provider.

Testimonials are one of the most powerful things you can use in any piece of marketing or advertising you do. With so many Fly By Night companies in the world, people are skeptical of trusting any new business that they work with. Testimonials are a great way to help eliminate that fear that your new prospect might have.

With the proper use of testimonials in your marketing you can boost the effectiveness of any advertisement you place. Testimonials in your marketing let prospects know that you are as good as you say you are because other people have said so too! It's one thing to say you have the best product or the fastest service but it's a lot more believable when 20 other people have also said the same thing.

Every piece of marketing and advertising you've got should include at least one testimonial and really should include at many as you have space for.

Don't be shy! If you have room to show off what other happy customers are saying about your product or service, then show off as many as possible. This is something to be proud of.

Here's a few great ways to make the most of your testimonials from happy customers:

Be creative with your testimonials when you are getting them from customers. Don't just ask them to write up something about you. Many times, though they mean well, they won't get to it and it could be months before you finally get anything from them. It may never actually happen.

Most of the time, it's not personal. It's just that they are busy and forget. You can help them out by using a quick phone interview with them to ask a few basic questions and then use that information to write up the testimonial for them. Then just send it to them so they can look at it and approve it.

Mastering The Art Of Press Release Marketing

Press release marketing is a great way to get the word out about your products and services.

Press release marketing is a great way to get the word out about your products and services. Writing a press release, and using it to market your business, is a little varying from article marketing. In this article let's talk about a few things you can do to master the art of press release marketing.

1. One error many Internet marketers make with press releases is they do not offer influential content. The best time to utilize a press release is when you have something of value to offer in the form of communication about your business.

This could contain things such as a new product, a joint venture, something note worthy your business has accomplished, and so on. As long as you have something to offer that is influential, and pertinent, then a press release is a great way to market it.

2. Offer complete information on the facts you are announcing. Your press release should answer all questions that your reader has utilizing the, who, what, why, when, and how, questions as barometers to formulate it from.

3. As in article marketing and email marketing titles are very noteworthy. Unless your press release is read it really will not do your business any good. Therefore, you want to offer information that is intriguing, keyword rich, and gets your point across.

4. Write your press release so it is simple to read. You want your message to be simple, yet complete, and offer as much information in as few of effectual sentences as possible. You do this by writing simple and short content concentrating on facts and not on fancy text. You may want to read this part again!
