Work At Home : Scam or System Deficit

That's a SCAM!" We've all heard it. YES, there are work at home opportunities that aren't ran ethically or morally. We don't want to have any part of those. However, there are legitimate businesses in which the "average Joe" can keep time freedom and have financial freedom too.

SYSTEMS ARE DUPLICATABLE, PEOPLE ARE NOT.

There are 6 key points that separate the 2% mega successful from the 98% struggling to get their online businesses going:

* 1.) An inability to stay connected with each client, getting them to walk through the process with you.

* 2.) Inconsistent advertising, your associates allowing leads to get cold or simply not dialing them at all.

* 3.) Lack of confidence/ability on the introduction/qualifying calls. No posture, too much posture etc.

* 4.) Chasing the follow ups. The amazing amount of frustration on your part when those follow ups simply did not show.

* 5.) An inability to gauge how interested your client is in your product.

* 6.) Too much dependence on the individual instead of on the system.

Do you feel like those key points BELONG to you? You are not alone!

FORGET THE KNACK, BRING ON THE SYSTEM!

Some people just have a knack for marketing. That is the majority of the 2% mega successful. Everyone else either has a knock out system or is within the 98% struggling to get it right.

Why would you bring into play tempered glass??

Tampered or toughened glass is used for many purposes such as buildings requiring large spans of glass and hence being the only acceptable alternative to address the needs for strength and safety. Tampered glasses have exceptional strength in contrast to annealed float glasses. Tampered glasses have excellent chemical resistance and hence the risk of breakage drops and in the unlikely event of breakage, glass panel shatters into small fragments rather than sharp shards and therefore trimming down the risk of injury and other damages.

These enhanced properties are an outcome of the stress profile stimulated in the glass with the aid of toughening heat treatment process. Toughened glass panels can be produced in numerous shapes, with specific furnace dimensions often being the limiting factor. The heat treatment process requires heating stress free (annealed) glass up to a temperature that lies between its glass conversion temperature and its softening point and then swiftly cooling the exterior. When performed appropriately, the glass centre is in tension, while the glass surface is in compression. This strain profile in the glass is unbeaten as most breakdown initiate at the surface from tensile loads. In tampered glass, the applied tensile load must prevail over the compressive strain at the surface before the exterior can go into stress and break.

Trying To “Break In” To Voice Overs? You Can’t! Understanding The Profession, However, Can lead To Long-Term Success

Voice Over is a business. Voice Over is a business in which professionals count on other professionals to provide a service that requires knowledge, skill and professionalism. This idea probably seems pretty basic and obvious to those of us who already work in the voice over field. In many cases, however, individuals considering beginning in our field often find themselves caught up in what I refer to as the “Break In” mentality.  These folks often have every bit as much desire for success as any professional in our field does, but unfortunately, they see professional voice over work as something you need special luck or a magic trick to build success in.  As a producer and Voice Over educator, I hear this all the time: “Can you teach me how to break in to voice overs?”

Questions like these always offer me the opportunity to make a very clear point:  Voice Acting is not something that you break in to.  Voice Over is a business, and those people who are voice actors are, in essence, small business owners. You don’t “break in” to being a doctor, a lawyer, a mechanic, a cook, or a professional athlete, and similarly, you don’t “break in” to being a voice over artist. Building success in Voice Acting is exactly the same as building that success in any other field: it’s not primarily about luck or a magic formula, it’s about understanding the requirements of the profession, determining where you best fit in, developing necessary skill, and remaining persistent.  Additionally, enjoying the process and the prospect of success can be a tremendous advantage.  Many of the world’s top businesses were not built solely with the desire for income, but with passion for the process.

As in any worthwhile endeavor, there will be challenges to overcome and work to be done to achieving success in voice overs.  But your individual success will become much more tangible through a clear understanding of the professional requirements of the field.
