8. It's best to be clued up on the various laws you will be subject to at some point or another (Labour, SARS, skills etc) so you don't make voidable, ignorant mistakes and don't need to pay someone else to handle it for you.

9. Cheap options give cheap results, be prepared to spend more to get better results, even if it means less somewhere else for a while.

10. Get a business consultant, Coach or Mentor to advise and guide you until you have learned and gained enough experience to carry on by yourself. Be humble and allow them to show you how, no matter if you think you know better.  Nadja
